Conscious Collective

02. Website Structure

The website is structured to support a new edition of Conscious Collective each year while retaining the same underlying framework.

2.1 Event vs Session

The first distinction to understand in the CMS is the difference between an event and a session.

  • Event - the overarching annual edition of Conscious Collective, for example Conscious Collective 2027.
  • Session - an individual programme item that sits within that annual event.

2.2 Session Categories

All sessions fall under four main categories:

  • Showcases
  • Experiences
  • Conversations
  • Workshops

2.3 Annual Visual System

Each annual event has its own visual system. This includes:

  • an overarching theme colour
  • a dedicated collaborator colour
  • a colour for Showcases
  • a colour for Experiences
  • a colour for Conversations
  • a colour for Workshops

These colours are configured at Event level and are inherited across the relevant parts of the website.

2.4 Page Layouts

There are two page layouts in the website:

  • One-column layout - used only for the Home / Home Page.
  • Two-column layout - used for all other website pages.

Do not use the one-column layout for any page other than Home.
